Marcela Francesca Grandón Gaete, a novice of the Sisters Adorers, Handmaids of the Blessed Sacrament and of Charity, will make her first religious profession. The ceremony will take place on March 4, 2023 at 11:30 (Chilean time) in the chapel of the Adorers located at 1714 21 de Mayo Street, Talagante, Metropolitan Region of Santiago, Chile.

Marcela is Chilean and has been preparing to consecrate herself to the Lord. She did her formation in the Congregation first in Chile (mutual knowledge); then the postulancy in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic; and the novitiate in Spain.

On March 4, this novice will join the Adorers’ mission of liberation, personal integration, promotion and social reintegration of women exploited by prostitution or victims of various forms of slavery.

For the celebration of her first religious profession, Marcela has chosen to be accompanied by the words of the foundress of the Congregation, St.Maria Micaela of the Blessed Sacrament: “Behold the heart of your slave who burns with love to love you”.
